General Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must hold at least an LLB degree, preferably LLM or Bar at Law, from a reputed national or international university.
- Applicants must have at least 15 years of legal practice experience, either in the High Court or Supreme Court of Pakistan.
- The candidate should have experience in either:
- Service Matters: Legal advisory services related to service laws, ombudsman, labor courts, ESTA Code, E&D Rules, NIRC, and Wafaqi Mohtasib.
- Corporate Matters: Legal advisory services related to corporate law, the Companies Act, SECP, PPRA, banking and taxation laws, insurance laws, and tender documentation.
- The candidate must have an office located in Lahore.
- Application Submission:
- Proposals must be submitted to the General Manager (HR) at PASSCO Head Office, 11 Kashmir Road, Lahore.
- Applications must be submitted no later than 4:30 PM on 4th November 2024.
- Applications must include all relevant documents and evidence supporting the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
- Contract Terms:
- The initial contract will be for a period of two years, which may be extended based on the candidate’s performance.
- The appointment is purely on a contract basis and may be terminated by either party with a one-month notice period.
- Responsibilities:
- The selected legal advisors will be required to represent PASSCO in court proceedings as needed and attend meetings at the PASSCO Head Office.
- They will be responsible for vetting documents, policies, rules, and handling corporate legal matters (for the corporate legal advisor position).
- The legal advisors will also assist in legal matters related to departmental and disciplinary proceedings (for the service legal advisor position).
- Pay Package:
- The monthly remuneration is negotiable and will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
- No travel or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for the recruitment process or for attending interviews.
- Selection Process:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
- PASSCO reserves the right to reject any application without providing any reason.
- General Terms:
- All decisions regarding the selection and appointment of candidates are at the discretion of PASSCO.
