- The candidate must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria as outlined in the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Guidelines of 2024 and the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules of 2013. This includes being in line with the applicable regulations from SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan).
- Nationality:
- The applicant must be a Pakistani citizen.
- Retirement/Severance:
- Selected candidates from Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must seek retirement or resign from their previous position and sever any connection with parent departments before formally joining IESCO.

- The application must be submitted along with a signed print of the online form, a detailed CV, CNIC copy, and verified copies of all degrees/testimonials from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or any equivalent body.
- Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide HEC equivalency certificates.
