General Terms and Conditions
- Position Overview:
- The position of Social Safeguard Specialist is being offered under the Sindh Solar Energy Project (SSEP).
- The contract is part of the Sindh Energy Department’s initiatives funded by the International Development Association (World Bank).
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Education:
- Minimum 16 years of education in social sciences or a related field (e.g., Development Studies, Sociology, Political Science, Gender Studies).
- Experience:
- At least 10 years of total work experience with a minimum of 7 years in community mobilization, social safeguard planning, and implementation.
- Core Competencies:
- Experience in resettlement plans, social assessments, and preparation/revision of environmental and social (E&S) reports.
- Strong communication skills in English and Urdu; preference will be given to candidates with Sindhi language proficiency.
